The active ingredient of ETEPON PGR is 2-chloroethylphosphonic acid (Ethephon). Ethephon is a plant growth regulator used to promote fruit ripening, abscission, flower induction, and other responses. Using ETEPON PGR could shorten the ripening time of pineapple and banana. ETEPON PGR is applied one to two weeks before the expected harvest time.
